Questions

How much does an online store cost in South Africa on Usima?

The Navigator plan is R2 999 a year (R299 a month) and includes a shop website, fair-use hosting, templates, business plan tools and an e-sign quota. You connect your own PayFast or Yoco, which charge their normal transaction fee; Usima adds no per-sale fee.

Can Usima get my business funded?

No one can honestly guarantee funding. Funder applications are free on official channels. Usima prepares documents only — it never lodges as your proxy and never guarantees approval.

Does Usima sell domains?

No. Keep the domain at your registrar and connect it with guided DNS and free SSL. A free *.sites.usima.co.za address works immediately.

Is Usima enterprise-ready and POPIA compliant?

Growing teams invite staff by role and keep POPIA roles in writing. Usima is not ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certified today — awarded certificates appear only on /trust-notices. Details: /enterprise.

Is Usima a Shopify or DocuSign alternative?

For South African SMMEs, yes on those jobs: a Rand-priced shop with your own PayFast/Yoco, and everyday ECT Act PDF signing. Dated tables: /compare. Usima Sign is not AES/QES.
